Daisy Elson Rambo, 90 of 1619 C avenue NE. widow of William O. Rambo and a Cedar Rapids resident 19 years, died Tuesday following a long illness.
born July 28 1874, near Shellsburg, Iowa she was married Oct. 15, 1902.
Survining are a son, Warren W. and two grandsons. Her husband, three brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Rambo was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marion, Rebecca Lodge of Shellsburg and the Royal Neigihbors Lodge.
Memorial services: Turner chapel at 1:3- p.m. Friday by the Rev. Charles Moore. Burial: Shellsburg, Friends may call at the chapel.[deneren-9-12456.ged]

Shellsburg- William Rambo, 66 of Shellsburg died at his home here Wednesday of heart ailment. He was born on a farm in Canton township, Benton county, the son of W. Daniel and Stacia Rambo and had spent his entire life as a farmer in theis community. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. and Rebekah lodges and of the Methodist church. In 1902, he was married to Daisy Elson of Shellsburg. she survivies along with a son Warren of Janesville, Wis. three sisters, Mrs. Rebekah Benson of Urbana, Mrs. Clara McCulley and Mrs. Earl White of Oak Grove community, and a brother, Charles Rambo of Urbana. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. R.F. Hayenga.
