Roger Carl Ackerman, age 73, of Omaha, passed away October 12, 2008. Roger was born August 3, 1935, in Council Bluffs to Carl P. and Arretta I. (Moon) Ackerman. Roger served his country in the Air Force from 1954 to 1957. He was the office manager for Aksarben Beef for over 30 years, and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Omaha. Roger married Eileen Smith Frandsen on May 1, 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include wife, Eileen of Omaha; step daughters, Kathleen M. Krauth (Gregory) of Crescent, Cynthia A. Clark (Jerry) of Neola, Debra A. Stanton (Rick) of Valley, Neb.; stepsons, Scott Moon (Debra) of Council Bluffs, Tim Moon of Omaha, step grandsons, Aaron M. Krauth (Regan), Robert M. Krauth (Shonna), Adam R. Krauth (ShaVonne) all Omaha, Jacob O. Clark (Rebecca) of Jefferson, Iowa, David J. Clark (Jessica) of Omaha, Benjamin L. Clark (Ashley) of Hawaii; 9 step great grandchildren; sister, Paula Houser (Hubert) of Carson; sister-in-law, Betty Coniglio of Omaha. Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery with military rites tendered by American Legion Post #2.
