Farrell was listed as MIA for what seemed an eternity. We later learned that he went down in North Vietnam near Hanoi in a USAF Aircraft F4E.
Farrell was an officer in the United States Air Force. His date of death is listed as June 27, 1972, however, we are not sure that this is the correct date. His remains were not returned to the United States until June 3, 1983, as part of a special negotiation.
