MILLER -- Wade W., 77, born January 20, 1929, in Tulsa, OK, the son of Edward Wade and Sophronia (Jenkins) Miller. Wade died Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at his home in Broken Arrow, OK.

He was a 1947 graduate of Holy Family High School in Tulsa, OK. He attended 2 years at the University of Tulsa. He was a Veteran of the United States Marines, having served during the Korean War.

He married the former Miss Marilyn J. Ebertowski on July 28, 1953, in Ardoch, ND. They moved to Broken Arrow in 1969, from Tulsa, having moved there in 1956, from North Dakota. Marilyn preceded him in death on May 15, 2006.

Wade was a Laboratory Technician at Sun Oil Company for 33 years. He played football at the University of Tulsa and while in the Military he played in the Cherry Bowl in Tokyo, Japan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing Santa Claus and attending his kids and grandkids ball games and had coached football at Holy Family. He was a member of Broken Arrow Seniors and St. Anne's Catholic Church.

Memorials may be made to St. Anne's Catholic Church, 301 S. 9th, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.

He is survived by: daughters, Kathy and husband, Russell Repschlager, Broken Arrow, Carol and husband, Frank Finik, Tulsa; sons, Russell Miller, Broken Arrow, Vance and wife, Teresa Miller, Jacksonville, FL, Rodney Miller, Broken Arrow; grandchildren, Amy Largent, Ryan and wife, Andrea Repschlager, Billy White, Warren Finik, Jason Miller, Jodi Miller; great-grandchildren, Connor and Emily Largent, Braxton and Dawson Repschlager.

The family will greet friends from 4 - 6 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2006, at Hayhurst Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held 7 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2006, at St. Anne's. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Monday, August 28, 2006, at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Hayhurst, 258-9623.

Funeral Mass was held at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at 10am, Monday, August 28, 2006 under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home. Rosary was held at St. Anne's Catholic Church at 7pm, Sunday, August 27, 2006.

Wade's wife, of 52 years, Marilyn Jane Ebertowski-Miller preceded him in death on May 15, 2006.
