The 1930 census of Hartford, Connecticut lists: John W. Hauling, age 39, born in Ill., occupation real estate broker, wife Lenore, age 34, born in Wisc., son Johny F., age 9, born in Ill., son Charles J., age 5, born in Ill.


The following was furnished by Lynn Turner:


Sgt Charles James "Jimmy" Huling was a member of the United States Army

Air Corps in World War II. He was killed in action during the Battle of

the Bulge when his plane was shot down over Trabson, Turkey. He had a

half-brother (John Willard Randall) who had died in the same manner

flying over the Mediterranean in support of the Battle of Sicily in

1943. They were my mother's cousins.
