Lindsay Alan Bass, born September 11, 1984, died May 12, 2003 of accidental overdose of morphine, at age 18. At Lindsay's request prior to his death, his body was cremated and his ashes were scattered in the Shenandoah River in Bentonville, Virginia along with those of his mother, Diana Charleen Bass Baggett, who died in 2006 from Multiple Sclerosis. Lindsay had many fond memories of that river from his youth.

Remembering Diana and Lindsay

Even though Lindsay spent many of his troubled teenage years in halfway houses, in addition to receiving a GED, he graduated from High School and had taken and passed the SAT test to enter Lamar State College just prior to his death. Lindsay wanted to be a Chemical Engineer. Lindsay was a construction worker.

Lindsay lived a double life. To his family, Lindsay was thoughtful and helpful. To his equally troubled friends, Larry was a leader. Larry thought he was immortal and infallible, but was proven wrong by the life he lived. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him and wish his life had been different.

Lindsay's half sister is Cameron "Cammie" Nicole Baggett.
Lindsay's two aunt that loved him unconditionally are Connie Sue Bass and Janet Kay Bass Colvin.

Lindsay's Grandparents:
Colleen Rudacille Bass and Charles Henry Bass, Jr.
