Following a four weeks' illness, George McMahon, aged 50 years, died at his home , 2116 Harvey Avenue, at 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon, death being due to a complication of disease. He was born in Silverton, WV., where he resided during his youth. Approximately 20 years ago he became a resident of East End. Until recently he was employed as a foreman by the American Vitrified Products Company here. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons. George and Donald of East End; three daughters, Irene, Sadie and Mildred, East End and a sister, Mrs. R.S. Swogger of New Brighton, Pa.
