Christopher Renner

DELPHOS - Christopher Renner, 90, of Rt. 1 died noon Friday in Delphos Memorial Home. He had been seriously ill two weeks.

Born here May 8, 1881, he was the son of Joseph and Catherine Mieler Renner. He married Rosa Neimeyer Nov. 7, 1906, and she died June 12, 1969.

Mr. Renner was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, its Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are a daughter, Sister Mary St. Aloysius of Toledo; two sons, Virgil of Landeck and Richard of here; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be offered 9 a.m. Monday in the church, Rev. Albert Ottenweller celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp Funeral Home, where the Knights of Columbus will recite the Rosary 8 p.m. Sunday.
