From "My Mother"
by James Renwick Jackson
My Mother! How those words so holy thrill me through and through. To realize how she made it possible for me to have life; how she encouraged me against all obstacles; how she prayed for me; how she insisted on reading ten verses of the Bible with me before I would go out to school, together with a loving kiss--such are the hallowed memories that rush through my soul and mind as I ponder what she meant to me.

From "Mother: The Priceless Heritage of God"
by James Renwick Jackson
No matter what I do or where I go, my Mother will live and journey with me. Her ideals of honor, honesty, truthfulness, and fair play are the living dynamics that make me a pioneer of a new and better world. My Mother believes in me as long as she lives and I live. Her love follows me. To her, I am the child of her love. Her kiss rendered every hurt of small consequence. She believes in me and her prayers follow me through every day. It is good to find people who believe in you, but no one ever believes in you like your own Mother.
