ERNEST L. CASE DIES SUDDENLY MONDAY AFTERNOON

Ernest L. Case, 67, highly respected farmer of the Prospect community, died suddenly Monday afternoon while assisting a tenant on his farm with some wood cutting.

One of the county's substantial citizens, Mr. Case is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa Lee Gilbert Cast; four daughters, Miss Sara Case, of Prospect; Miss Olla Mae Case, of Decatur; Miss Josephine Case, of Pulaski; and Mrs. Lester Stephens, of Piper, Alabama; two sons, Ernest Case, of Prospect; and Gilbert Case, of Camp Roberts, California; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Cope Elder, of Prospect; two brothers, G. C. and L. E., both of Prospect.

Funeral services were held at three o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the residence by the Rev. H. B. Brandon and the Rev. J. E. Trotter. Burial was in the family cemetery near Prospect. Wilson Carter in charge.
