Natchitoches Times, __ , 1920: Mrs. Malinda Williams Nash, wife of Capt. C.C. Nash, aged Confederate Veteran, died, in her sixty-fourth year. She was the only daughter of the late R.B. Williams and Helen Wade Williams. . . born in Winnfield . . .later moved to Montgomery where in December 1879 she married Capt.Nash. . . moved to Natchitoches twenty years ago. Survived by six children: Misses Ida and Sadie Nash and Richard Nash of Natchitoches, Mrs. Frank Bond of New Orleans, and Mesdames R.E. Stuart and Annette Nash of Dallas, Texas. Three brothers, Dr. W.T. Williams and J.H. Williams of Natchitoches, and Judge John A. Williams of Colfax, and two grandchildren also survive. Remains interred in American Cemetery.
