MRS. MARIE (MORROW) AUGUSTIN, 54, a resident of Franklin County Nursing Home, Chambersburg, and formerly of 149 W. Main St., Waynesboro, died at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, April 24, 1994, in Chambersburg Hospital. She was in failing health for the past 10 years and critically ill for the past six months.
Born May 28, 1939, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Bertha D. (Baker) Morrow. She lived most of her life in the Waynesboro area.
Mrs. Augustin graduated from Waynesboro High School with the class of 1957.
She and her husband, Felix Augustin of Chambersburg, were married March 7, 1980.
She entered the nursing home in April 1991.
Mrs. Augustin was employed at the Gettysburg Shoe Factory and then was a bartender in the Waynesboro area.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Esther Bowders of Waynesboro and Emma Downin of Rouzerville: two brothers, Frederick Morrow of Waynesboro and Robert Morrow of New York; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Bertha Fraley, Thelma Helser, Hariette Louise Morrow, Mary Jane Morrow and Dorothy Morrow; and five brothers, Lester Morrow, James Morrow, Harvey Morrow, John Morrow and Charles Morrow.
Services will be held at 10;30 a.m. Thursday in Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with Pastor Mark Green officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Emma E. Downin, P.O. Box 118, Rouzerville, Pa. 17250.
