Maybelle M. Mendenhall Of Blue Ball, MD. Age 92. Died Friday, July 9, 1999 at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD. Service: 11 am Tuesday, July 13 at Moores Chapel United Methodist Church, Blake, MD. Visitation: 10-11 am. Interment: Rosebank Cemetery, Calvert, MD.

Mrs. Mendenhall was born June 18, 1907 in Lombard, MD. She was a homemaker, however she owned and operated the Blue Ball General Store for many years with her husband. She was a life member of Moores Chapel United Methodist Church, Blake, MD and active in the United Methodist Women, serving as treasurer for 28 years. She was a member of Blue Ball Homemakers and served as treasurer of the Rising Sun PTA. She enjoyed crocheting and flowers; particularly African Violets. She was an avid Orioles fan.

Mrs. Mendenhall was the widow of James H. Mendenhall and is survived by son, Roger Mendenhall of Blue Ball; daughters, Kay Montgomery near Bay View, MD and Jane Johnson near Blue Ball; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome, however memorial contributions may be made to Moores Chapel United Methodist Church c/o the funeral home.
