Funeral services for Pauline Pool were held Monday, August 4, 2008 in the Faith Community Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Adam Parrish and Rev. Deon Daniel officiating. Ruth Daniel and Teresa Lindsey served as singers, accompanied by Elaine Duey. Song selections were Sheltered In The Arms Of God, All Because Of God's Amazing Grace, and The Cross Made The Difference For Me. Pallbearers were Andrew Pool, Jeff Walker, Jason Kuster, and Matt Dean. Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mountain Grove, Mo.
Pauline Wanda Pool, daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Hale) Robinett, was born January 11, 1932 in Texas County, Mo. and passed away August 1, 2008 at her residence in Mountain Grove, Mo. She was 76 years, 6 months, and 21 days of age.
Pauline grew up in Texas and Wright Counties and was united in marriage to Gene Pool on June19, 1953 in Mountain Grove. Two children were born to this union.
Pauline worked beside her husband on their dairy farm for many years. Later, after retirement, Pauline enjoyed traveling in their RV, spending the winters in Arizona. She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Mountain Grove and enjoyed attending services and visiting with her many friends.
Besides her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Bob Robinett; and by one sister, Louise Day.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gene of their home; one son, Randall Pool of Cabool, Mo.; and one daughter, Paula Shaw and her husband, Charles, of Mountain Grove; two brothers, Dale Robinett of Casa Grande, Arizona and Kenneth Robinett of Battlefield, Mo.; two sisters, Maxine Bennett of Grain Valley, Mo., and Bernice Cooper of Norristown, PA; six grandchildren, Angela Walker and her husband, Jeff, Beth Kuster and her husband, Jason, Andy Pool and his wife, Susie, Gena Dixon and her husband, Matt, Kenny Shaw, and Selena Lee; four great grandchildren, Peyton, Rand, Addison, and Tabbi; and a host of other relatives, neighbors, and friends who will greatly miss her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Faith Community Nazarene Church in memory of Mrs. Pool.
