Ron Walton was the eighth child born to Kenneth C. and Frances (Meagher) Walton. He graduated from Mills Elementsry Schooi in 1960 in Crawfordsville and graduated from Muncie Central High School, Muncie, IN, in 1966. Ron attended Indiana Buisness College, Muncie, IN. In September 2000 he retired from the Defense Finance & Accounting Center located at Ft. Ben Harrison in Indianapolis. Ron was an avid Muncie Central Bearcat, Indiana University, and Notre Dame fan. He was also a Crawfordsville Athenian fan, where he went to high school for two years.

Ron and his partner, Fred Medaris, lived in Fishers, IN for several years. Ron enjoyed scrapbooking, collecting old yearbooks, spectator sports, collecting DVD movies and old TV shows on DVD, gardening, music, and traveling. Ron had the pleasure of meeting Skeeter Davis' sister, brother, and her secretary, also from Muncie, IN.

Ron was baptized at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Crawfordsville, IN, in 1967. He used his sign language talent to interpret for the Deaf at St. Joan Of Arc Cathoic Church, Indianapolis, and also interpreted at the Finance Center for the Federal Government.

Ron was a person that loved life and had many friends. He kept in contact with several of his fellow classmates from Crawfordsville and Muncie.

Ron loved animals and had two cats in his life that he treasured, Agatha Marie and Noah Lee.
