Audrey Fae Osman was the daughter of Albert Franklin Osman and Mary Emma Curry. She married when she was about 16 years old to a Mr. Martin and later divorced him. On April 7, 1922, she married Albert H. Rose, in Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania. They lived in Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio.
Audrey's sister-in-law, Alphreta D. Osman (nee Sallade) died and Audrey took her brother Albert "Ted" Dwight Osman's infant baby son, Albert "Billy" William Osman (1929-1976), and his toddler sister, Dolores to raise. Audrey and Al Rose never had children of their own and adopted Dolores (1927-1974) [married first William J. Assel; 2nd to Daniel E. Cassidy].

After Al Rose died, Audrey married a widower, James Robert Taylor, on April 9, 1949, in Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio. Audrey and Jim Taylor lived in DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.

Obituary, Monday, November 8, 1976:
Audrey Fae Taylor, 79, of 10 Dixon Ave., DuBois, died at 1 a.m. Sunday in the home of her daugher-in-law, Mrs. Albert Osman. Friends may call at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. tonight. Rev. Lee A. Pomeroy will conduct services from the chapel at 1 p.m. Wednesday with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor was born at Butler, Pa., Nov. 17, 1896, daughter of Albert Franklin and Emma Osman. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church and had lived in DuBois for 30 years, previously in Steubenville, Ohio. She was a retired seamstress and tailor. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women`s Club of Steubenville, Ohio, Charter member and Past President (1940-42) of the Women`s Society of Christian Service of Fifth St. Methodist Church, Steubenville; former owner of the Rose Tea Room and provider of special dinners for the Steubenville YMCA, honorary member of the Jefferson County Humane Society, co-organizer of the DuBois DuBois Senior Citizens Club for which she was presented a letter of commendation and a lifetime membership. She was first married to Albert Rose, he preceded her in death; and later to James R. Taylor, Sr., who died in 1959. Survivors are two sisters, Ethel Mae Manny of Youngstown, Ohio and Mrs. Norman (Emma) Miller of Florida; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Albert (Orpha) Osman of DuBois. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Delores Assel, a son Albert W. Osman, six brothers, and her parents.

According to her death certificate, she was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, DuBois, Sandy Township., Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, on Nov 10, 1976.
