Jean was the daughter of William Edward and Bertha Florence (Bradley) Allison. She first married John A. Ladd. He died on Dec. 5, 1976. She then married Alfred "Alex" H. Greiert on Feb. 7, 1981 in Wichita, KS. He died March 3, 2002.
Surviving are one son, John (Cathy) Ladd; one daughter, Allison (Guy) Coleman; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one stepson and one brother.
She was a Chicago Public Health Nurse 50 years ago, them she worked as a nurse for the Fulton County Health Dept. from 1977 to 1981. She was a life-long member of the Congregational Church. She was a member of the Canton PEO J.Q. Chapter, the Fulton County Health Dept. Retirees and the Fulton County Home Extension. She served in the Army as a nurse during WWII, stationed in Hawaii.
