Paul D. Ashby, 63, of North Vernon died at 5:49 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison with the VFW offi ciating. Calling will be from 12:30 until service time. Burial will be at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
Survivors include his wife, Verna Grace Cain Ashby; two sons; one daughter; brothers, Larry (Susan) Ashby of Muncie and Benjamin (Barb) Ashby, James Ashby and Richard Ashby, all of Madison; sisters, Sylvia Privis of Jonesburg, Mo., Virginia Vincent of North Vernon, and Mary Woodfi ll, Betty Walters, Bonny McClure and Maria Burchfield, all of Madison; and two grandchildren.
