Mr. Fix was born Jan. 25, 1957, in Oregon City and lived in Clark County the past eight years.
Survivors include his wife, Karen, at home; his mother, Alverna "Verna" Fix of Milwaukie, Ore.; two daughters, Rebecca M. and Emma E., both at home; one son, Matthew C., at home; three sisters, Lois Pollex of Renton, Wash., Eilene Babcock of Milwaukie and Lynn Koellermeier of Concord, Calif.; and one brother, Dan Correll of Portland.
Mr. Fix was a member and elder of Hockinson Community Church and enjoyed cooking for the men's fellowship group. He also was a member of Pacific Northwest Pollution Control Association and Water Environmental Federation.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and loved the outdoors.
A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at Battle Ground Baptist Church. A private burial will be in Crawford Cemetery in Battle Ground.
