Shirley Davis was born June 9, 1930 at home in Mitchell, Iowa. She passed away on August 15, 2008 in Sacramento, CA. Shirley was preceded in death by her mother and father, three brothers and her sister. Shirley leaves to cherish her memories, her two brothers, Vern of Grants Pass, Ore., and Norval of Orangevale, Calif. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces, and nephews, also a very long time friend, Bobbie A. Rippe and all members of her family. As well as a long career of 32 years in banking, she served proudly in the U.S. Navy from October 1955 until discharged in September 1959. At the request of the deceased, no services will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, rememberances can be made to the Sacramento SPCA.
