Greenville- Funeral services for Sally Kate Daniels, 93, of Florence, Miss., and formerly of Greenville, an LPN and homemaker, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Maranatha Assembly of God Church, Greenville. She died June 3, 2004, at Briar Hill Rest Home, Florence. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery, Glen Allen, under the direction of Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was a native of Louisville, Miss., where she graduated high school. She was an LPN and Homemaker who spent her lifetime giving love and care to family and friends. She was a founding member of Maranatha Assembly of God Church. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Julius T Daniels; a son, Billy Daniels; and a daughter Colleen D Pierce. She had been a resident of Greenville from 1963 to 1998, when she moved to Hattiesburg to live with her daughter, and had been a resident of Briar Hill Rest Home in Florence since 2001. Six of her grandchildren will serve as her pallbearers.
Survivors include two daughters, Sally D Perkins of Hattiesburg, MS and Gayle D Cox of Ridgeland, Miss; five sons: Kenneth C Daniels of Foley, Ala, Charles T Daniels of Gulfport, MS, Warren Daniels of Tupelo, MS, Douglas and Ronnie Daniels both of Greenville, MS; 27 grandchildren; 29great grandchildren; and one greeat-great grandchild.
