John Amsie Brown, a resident of Glen Allen for the past 29 yrs. passed away January 21st after a lingering illness. He was a native of Attala Co. & was resident of Kosciusko for many years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Clark. Burial was in Glenn Allen Cemetery with Thweatt Funeral Home in charge.
He leaves his wife, 1 son Sam Jones Brown; a grandson, Milton Brown; a granddaughter, Carol Ann Brown all of Glen Allen, six sisters, Mrs. Minnie Ryle, of Boyle; Mrs. Maude Jay, Columbus; Mrs. Bess Clements, Ackerman; Mrs. Lelia Wilder, Emerson, Ark.; Mrs. Nettie Akins, Ethel, Mrs. Billye Akins, Kosciusko & a brother, Charles Hugh Brown of Boyle.
