Tiburon resident, Michael Dasher, 59, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008, after an incredibly courageous battle with cancer. Mike was a devoted husband, father, and family man whose greatest pleasure was spending time with those he loved. He enjoyed gardening, tennis, and was able to once more use his natural talent for golf during his brief retirement. Mike spent his childhood and young adult life in Reno, NV before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area upon completion of his graduate studies. He then enjoyed a successful banking career in San Francisco and London spanning over 34 years with Crocker Bank, Midland Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Bank of America. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nena; son, John (Meghan), and grandson, Andrew; daughter, Kimberly and her fiancé, Owen Tripp; and brother, Bill (Danielle).

Services will be held at St. Hilary's Catholic Church, 761 Hilary Drive, in Tiburon on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. A private family burial will be held at Fernwood Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Lance Armstrong Foundation (www.livestrong.org) or your favorite charity.
