Ardmore, OK β€” Funeral services for Sharron M. Stowers, 56, will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Emmanuel Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Donny Custar and Reverend Ron Elmore. Burial will be in the Woodberry Forest Cemetery at Madill.


Sharron was born Feb. 13, 1952, to the late George Klein and Frances Dewberry Klein at Madill. She died in an Ardmore hospital Friday, Sept. 5, 2008.


"Melissa's Assistant" at the Doctor's Clinic for the past six years, Sharron had previously been a cook and waitress at Sanford's, Benson's and Cattle Rustlers restaurants.


Survivors include two sons, Bradley Love and Jordan Stowers, of Ardmore; a brother and his wife, Wendyl and Cathy Klein, Lone Grove; two half-sisters, Delois and Elaine; nephews Jason and his wife, Amy, and Waylen and his wife, Christy, Klein; a niece Melissa and her husband, David, Rice; and eight greatnephews and nieces.


Serving as casket bearers will be Mark and Lee Armstrong, Jordan Anderson, Jackson Cross, Carl Buchanan and Larry Bates. Honorary bearers are Chris Scott and David Throneberry.
A time of visitation and support is scheduled from 3-4 p.m. today at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, 2118 S. Commerce St.
