Kenneth W. Anderson, age 64, 11649 County Road M, Auburndale, died on Monday morning, August 11, 2008 in the Town of Auburndale.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Auburndale where the visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 am until service time. Rev. Eric Linzmaier will officiate and music will be provided by Karen Isaacson as organist for St. Mary's Choir and congregational singing. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Russell, Roger, David and Ashley Anderson and Richard Karl and Brian Kloos. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Ken was born on August 26, 1943 in Marshfield to Norman and Bernice (Manlick Pozega) Anderson. He attended Auburndale schools, including St. Mary's Parochial and was a graduate of Auburndale High School. He married Karen M. Ress on November 13, 1965 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville. He was employed at Weyerhaeuser Company, Marshfield and then for the Laborers Local Union 268 until 1998 when he retired due to ill health.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar and was a Packer and Brewer fan.
He is survived by his wife, Karen and three daughters, Christine (David) Christensen of Green Bay, Julie (David) Weister of Hewitt and Jennifer Anderson of Auburndale. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Drew and Clay Christensen and Mikhaila, Evan and Avery Weister. He is further survived by two brothers, Ronald (Diane) Anderson and Dale (Theresa) Anderson, all of Auburndale.
He was predeceased by his parents, his stepfather, Tom Pozega and a brother in infancy.
