OBIT: "Etna (Starks) Wells was born near Creighton, Mo., July 28 1886; died at her home at Pappinsville, near Rich Hill, Mo., July 25, 1923, leaving a baby girl about two hours old. She was married to Henry Wells in December 1903, and to this union eleven children were born, all of whom are living. She united with the M.E. Church at Pappinsville, of which she was a member at the time of her death. Funeral services were held at the cemetery at Pappinsville, where the body was laid to rest. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Henry Wells, 8 sons and 3 daughters, father and mother, Mr and Mrs Field Starks, 6 brothers and sisters and grandmother."
