Jennie L. Peck, 81, of 7 Clinton St., Sidney, a former resident at Stamford, died January 22 at The Hospital, Sidney, following a lengthy illness. Private funeral services for the famlly only will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hall Funeral Home, Stamford, with the Rev. R. Meisel, pastor of South Jefferson Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be later, in Stamford Cemetery.
Mrs. Peck was born Aug. 2, 1888 in Jefferson, daughter of Lewis and Mary (Colewell) Zeh. She was married to Melvin H. Peck Nov. 27,1907 at Stamford. He died Jan. 30, 1962.
She had lived in Sidney for the past year, and formerly lived in Stamford, Oneonta, Worcester and Bainbridge.
She was a member of West End Community Baptist Church, Oneonta.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Hazel) Kutschker, Bainbridge; Mrs. Gertrude Harvey, Sidney; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.
