Jessie Anderson, age 79, of Ola, AR died Sunday, August 8, 1999 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. She was born November 7, 1919, at Plainview, AR, a daughter of the late Olgar A. and May McCoy Bittle. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Ola United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Frank Bittle and a sister, Bobbie Joe Cowger. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Anderson; a brother, Coy Bittle of Ola and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10 AM Wednesday, August 11, 1999 at the Ola United Methodist Church with Rev. John Zolk officiating. Burial will be in the Carter Cove Cemetery at Plainview by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Active pallbearers were James and John Bittle, Kenny McCoy, Stan Garner and Rick Wood. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
