Mrs. L.C. Fisher
Mrs.Clara Jane Fisher,57,died shortly afternoon at her home in Park Station.Mrs.Fisher had been an employee of DuPont Co. for 13 years.
She was born April 7,1907 in Albemarle County,a daughter of Mrs.Nancy Moore of Waynesboro and the late William Moore.
In addition to her mother ,she is survived by her husband,Lionel C. Fisher and four stepsons,Calvin W.,Alfred F.Fisher and Thomas A.Fisher all of Waynesboro,and Lester D.Fisher of Williamsburg,four stepdaughters,Mrs.Christine Jackson,Mrs.Thelma Campbell,Mrs.Eleanor Fisher and Mrs.Delma Fisher all of Waynesboro,one brother ,Herman Moore of Waynesboro,five sisters, Mrs.Pearl Dudley,Mrs.Agnes Zimmerman,Mrs.Lizzy Dudley,and Mrs,Lillie Pulley,all of Waynesboro,and Mrs.Bessie Dudley of Norfolk.Also a number of step-grandchildren,several great step-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Etter Funeral Home,to be conducted by the Rev.H.L.Walters with interment in Glen Kirk Chapel Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be James Moon,Charles Shifflett,Larry Zimmerman,Arthur Sprouse,Orsby Madison, and Johnnie Henderson.
