Alfred Franklin Fisher,43,of Route 3,Box 2474,died Tuesday at 7 p.m. at his home.
Mr.Fisher was born in Augusta County, April 28,1932, a son of the late Lionel Cleveland and Cleo Victoria Shifflett Fisher.
He was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church and had been retired because of disability since 1962.
Surviving are his wife,Mrs.Shirley Anna Fisher;two sons,two daughters,three brothers,Calvin W.Fisher and Thomas A. Fisher,both of Waynesboro,and a brother of Hampton;three sisters,Mrs.Carrie Elenora Fisher,Mrs.Joseph J.(Christine) Jackson,and Mrs.Thelma F. Shackerford,all of Waynesboro; a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Etter Funeral Home Chapel.It will be conducted by the Rev.Gurney P.Whitley and the Rev Rody D.Kiser.Burial will be in Glen Kirk Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be James G. Fisher,Rufus D. Fisher,Ronald W.Fisher,Gregory L.Fisher,Clyde W.Fisher and Samuel J.Jackson.
The body will at the Etter Funeral home,where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight.
The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Waynesboro Community Hospital or the Waynesboro First Aid Crew.
