Minnie Lovell, 89, of Fort Meade died Wednesday at Integrated Health Services in Auburndale. Funeral services were held this morning at Eagle Lake Church of Christ with Rev. John Thomas officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade with D. L. Moody Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She was a native of Athens, Alabama. She was a retired cook. Her husband, Lawrence Baker Lovell, died on October 27, 1988. She is survived by her daughters, Clara McGinnis of Pontiac, Michigan and Minnie Hamblin of Fort Meade; her sisters, Gladys Jones and Sillar Wallace, both of Athens, Alabama; her brothers, George Steelman and Lige Steelman, both of Athens, Alabama; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
