Annabelle Schuh was born in the town of Lima, Pepin County, where she married Lee Ableidinger Sept. 29,1930. They farmed in the town of Albany, Pepin County.
Survivors include her husband; eight sons, Elgene, Leon, Dean, Dale, all of Mondovi, Roger, Jeffrey, both of Durand, Myron, Whitehall, Vincent, Lake Lillian, Minn.; five daughters, Blanche Berger, Monica Johnson, Cindy Kummer, all of Mondovi, Sister Marianna Ableidinger, LaCrosse: Patricia Wittig, Durand; two brothers, Leo, Rock Falls, Leonard, Milwaukee; five sisters, Clara Bauer,Rose Ableidinger, Emma Schlosser, Mary Brunner, all of Durand, Lena Steller, Arkansaw; 42 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rock Falls, with burial in the church cemetery.
The Lee Ableidinger family wishes to express their thanks to the relatives, friends and neighbors who extended their sympathy at the time of Annabelle Ableidinger's death. Many thanks for the cards, visits and food that were sent at this time. Thanks also to Father Raschke of Mondovi who administered the Last Rites at the hospital and to Fr. Lechler who offered the funeral Mass at Rock Falls Catholic Church. A special thanks to Rhiel's Funeral Home. The family receives consolation from the quotation of Fr. Lechler, "Good Friday IS for a day. Easter is forever."
