LEVANDOSKI Donald, 78, of Paterson died Wednesday.Born in Paterson, NJ, he was a lifelong resident and was the owner of Cracovia Travel Agency in Paterson for many years. Mr. Levandoski was an Accompanist and Church Organist at St. Joseph's RC Church in Passaic since 1976, where he was a parishioner, and for various Polish Choirs. He began playing the organ at St. Stephen RC Church, Paterson in 1954 and remained there until 1966. He also played at Annunciation Church in Wayne.Mr. Levandoski was a 1960 graduate of Seton Hall University of South Orange, NJ. He began studying piano in 1948 under Professor Jerome Murawski, who was then the organist at Ss. Peter & Paul PNC Church in Passaic. He enlisted in the Army in 1951 and was assigned to a military intelligence unit in Linz, Austria. While there, he studied organ and music harmony at the Bruckner School of Music. Upon returning to the United States two years later, he resumed his studies under Arnold Leeds in Paterson.Survivors include his godson, Carlos L. Vazquez and Family of Paterson and several cousins and many friends.Funeral Services will be 9:15 am Monday from Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Avenue, Clifton and 10 AM at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 7 Parker Avenue, Passaic. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visitation on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the funeral home.
