Obit - "Marjorie W. Hill, 85, a retired assistant cafeteria worker at Eldred Central School, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1988 at her home in Eldred after a long illness.
Mrs. Hill was born in Wellstown, NY, June 7, 1902, the daughter of Willard and Minerva Racine Wells, and resided in Eldred most of her life.
She was the widow of Edgar C. Hill and was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses of Port Jervis.
Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Collis of Syracuse and Nancy German of Eldred; one sister, Gladys Kewley of Eldred; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted by a Watch Tower representative at 8pm today at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main St., Port Jervis.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 8pm.
Burial will be in Eldred Cemetery at the convenience of the family."
