George Frederick Neal was the son of Dora and Sarah h. (Sims) Neal (they had two sons that I know of, Harold and George).

George married Anna Margaret Myers on November 6, 1917. Anna died 12 years later on February 15, 1930 when she was only 30 years old.

George and Anna had three children, Robert Erland, Marjorie Ann (Neal) Spidel, and William, all who then went to live with grandparents (Robert and Marjorie with Anna's parents, Dora "Dode" and Sarah Hannah Sims Neal, while William went with maternal grandparents, George Milford and Carrie Geneva Gallaher Myer.

George married Opal Mozingo in 1939.
