He is survived by a widow and three children. While quite young he was married to Nancy Bertram of Sunnybrook, Kentucky. The only one now living is Mrs. Martha Harmon of Hidalgo.
His second marriage took place in 1881. He married Cenia Smith. From this union two children were born: W.B. Coyle and Mrs. Mary Atkinson, both of Hidalgo, Kentucky.
Mr. Coyle was born and raised in Wayne County, and was a soldier in the Civil War. He was converted about 30 years ago and joined the Methodist Church at Hidalgo.
His funeral sermons were conducted by Bro. Wesley Denney, this being his request before he died, after which his remains were laid to rest in Taylor's Grove cemetery.
I feel that too much cannot be said in praise of his faithful wife who survives him for the care she gave him during his long illness.
