Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 1, for Mildred Thelma Storey, 43, at German Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roy Handley officiated.
Mrs. Storey was born November 10, 1924 and died January 30, 1967 from injuries she received in an auto auccident. She lived at 215 Bates St., Steele. She had lived in this community 20 years.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her husband, George Storey of Steele; two sons, Johnny Ricketts and Millard Richetts both of Steele; eight daughters, Shirley Hood, Sherry Hood, Mary Underwood and Virginia Ricketts all of Aurora, Ill.; Linda Storey, Glenda Storey, Brenda Storey and Georgette Storey all of Steele; her mother, Mrs. Lillie Heminger of Steele, one brother, Addison Wheeler of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Addie Mae Ellenburg, Webster Groves, Mo. and Ann Jackson, Montgomery, Ala.; and five grandchildren.
