Joyce Renee Hansen Hamlett passed away at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center at the age of 61. She was born to Wise Pete and Eleanor Hansen. Joyce had lived in Reno for the past 20 years, coming from Auburn, CA, where is had lived for 31 years. She had worked at JC Penney warehouse for 12 years, where she was an associate. She graduated from Placer High School in Auburn, CA. Joyce is survived by her husband, Charles of Reno; son, Bret W. Avilla of Pittsfield, PA; daughter, Brenda Buckner and brother, Kenneth Hansen, both of Seattle; sister, Jean Lowery of South Lake Tahoe, CA; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
