Thomas William Turner was born in Polk County, Texas, the son of James Austin Turner and Willie Beulah Marsh.


He married (1) Beatrice Drake and had one son, Billy Jack Turner.
He married (2) Laverne ? . No children
He married (3) Carmen Padilla. They had three children: Carmen Collazo Turner, Hilda E. Turner and Tom W. Turner, Jr. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Tom W. Turner, Sr., age 66 of Casselberry, who passed away Friday, will be conducted Monday at 10 A.M. at the Altamonte Springs Chapel of the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, with Father Jim Burney officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park. Visitation for friends will be Sunday at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Mr. Turner served in the Korean War and World War II and was a retired Lt. Colonel in the Army. In his 37 plus years of dedicated service to our country, Mr. Turner received two Silver Stars, two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts along with various Presidential Citations and many other decorations.
