Ola and her family moved to Jerome, Idaho in 1940.
Mamie Ola married Robert Benjamin Lannom on April 5, 1941 at Elko, Nevada. Ola and Bob had both lived in Bells, Texas before coming to Idaho.
Bob and Ola had three sons, John Haskel, Billy Allen and Leslie Robert.
Ola worked for Dr. Matson in Jerome for a number of years.
Ola, Bob, Amanda and Leonard Climer moved to Pinetop, Arizona about 1964, where Bob and Leonard worked for a logging company. They lived there for a couple of years. Bob had a logging accident there and was unable to work for a while.
They moved to Arco, Idaho and Ola worked for the hospital in Arco for many years.
Ola was a very good cook and was a lot of fun to be with. Whenever any member of the family had a medical problem we always consulted her. Her greatest joy was being with and taking care of her husband Bob and her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Ola and Amanda's family spent a lot of time together, on camping and fishing trips.
Bob and Ola lived a short time back in Bell, Texas and then moved to Jerome. Bob passed away in 1987 in Jerome, Idaho.
Ola moved to Emmett to be close to her son Bill. She worked at the Senior Center for some time. She was living at the Emmett nursing home when she passed away.
Ola is survived by her brother Nathan Brooks of Jerome, her sons Bill Lannom of Cascade, Idaho and Les Lannom of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her son Jack and husband Bob. There are nine grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
