Obit - "William E. Hallock of Bedford, NH, a retired electrician with the John Weidner Co. in Honesdale, PA, who lived most of his life in Port Jervis, NY, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 17 at Yosemite National Park in CA. He was 65.
The son of Margaret Weber and the late Wilbur Hallock, he was born September 28, 1922 in Yulan. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Dermott Hallock, at home; two sons, Joseph Beirne of Liberty and William Hallock of Bedford; two daughters, Marion Drescher of Matamoras and Deborah Martin of Walker Valley; his mother, Margaret Hallock of Port Jervis; three brothers, Erwin of Sparrow Bush, Lawrence of San Diego, CA, and Charles of Highland Lake; two sisters, Roberta McCann of Barryville and Alberta McDowell of Lawton, OK; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home in Port Jervis. The Rev. Robert E. Foster officiated. Burial was in Glen Spey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association."
