Scott Lon Arnhold, 29, of Moorhead died at home Friday, July 11, 2008 following a battle against cancer.
He was born Jan. 16, 1979 in Fargo. He grew up at Run Away Bay Lodge on Lake Belle Taine. He attended Nevis Public School and graduated in 1997.
He married Lanessa M. LaVigne June 18, 2005 at Blueberry Pines near Park Rapids and they made their home in Moorhead.
He worked for SpaceAge Synthetics in Fargo for the past eight years.
Surviving are his wife; son, Lucas; parents, Ron and Dawn McLaen of Nevis and Lon and Cynthia Arnhold of Dent; siblings, Jason of Moorhead, Megan (Aaron) Knuttila of St. Joseph and Summer (Eric) Hammond of Bismarck, ND; grandmothers, Barb Arnhold of Sauk Rapids, Shirley Priebe of Ottertail and Lorraine McLaen of Forman, ND; great-grandmother, Margaret Hall of Starbuck and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bob Arnhold, Kenneth Priebe and Alvin McLaen.
Visitation: 5 to 8 tonight (Wednesday) at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Nevis.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Nevis with Pastor A.J. Kluver officiating. Barb Hanson will be the organist. Congregational hymn will be "Amazing Grace."
Inurnment: Lakeview Cemetery, Nevis.
