Daughter of William Archeleus Pendergrass and Clem Ella Barner.

Wife of Clarence Roscoe Bevill. Clarence and Gertrude moved to California after World War I, and then to Houston, Texas where Clarence died October 4, 1930. His remains were sent to Kensett Cemetery in Kensett, Arkansas for burial. At that time, Gertrude decided to purchase six burial plots at Brookside Cemetery which at that time was in far north Houston. These plots were to be for herself and her children if needed, costing $50. a piece. Gertrude decided not to be buried at Brookside Cemetery and instead be buried next to her daughter-in-law's parents, Herman and Homer Theum at Forest Park, Lawndale.

Mother of Clarence Bevill, Gerald Foster Bevill, Frances Elizabeth Bevill, James Barner Bevill, and Alice Gertrude Bevill Bolt.

Grandmother of Barner "Barney" Allen Bolt, Gary Michael Bolt, Michael Gerald Bevill, David Paul Bolt, James Patrick Bevill, and Jonathan Jay Bevill.

Sister of Archie Pendergrass, Clarence Pierce Parks Pendergrass, Anna Dell Pendergrass Galloway, Willie Dee Pendergrass, Edna Pearl Pendergrass, Atticus Haygood Pendergrass, Frank Bacon Pendergrass, Mary Janette Pendergrass, and Burryl Pendergrass.

Gertrude caught a cold and passed away from pneumonia.
