Mary Ellen Coats, 11-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oma Coats of Pottsboro route 2, died Tuesday at 10:10 am at a Sherman Hospital. The child had been a patient at the hospital following injury to her spine which she received in a fall a week ago (roller skating).
Funeral services are to be held Wednesday at 3 pm at the Baptist tabernacle at Sadler. The Rev. A. R. Morgan, Methodist minister of Sadler is to officiate, assisted by Ray Short of Pottsboro. Burial will be in the Sadler Cemetery, directed by Talley Funeral Home.
The child was born Oct. 21, 1926, at Sadler. Surviving besides her parents are the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Harris of Sadler and Mrs. S. E. Brown of Davis, Okla.
