COLUMBUS, Miss. — Lynda McKim Boozer, 67, died July 21, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Miss. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2008, at First United Methodist Church in Columbus, Miss. with Gunter & Peel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home and Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church. A committal service will be 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens near Birmingham. Mrs. Boozer was born January 5, 1941 in Anniston to the late Walden P. and Pauline Dean McKim. She was a graduate of Anniston High School. She is survived by her husband, Robert R. Boozer of Columbus, Miss.; sons, Weyman Boozer, of Huntsville and Timothy Boozer of Gainsville, Fla.; brother, Sanford E. McKim, of Overland Park, Kan.; sister, Mary F. Irwin, of Anniston; and two grandchildren, Breanna and Jill Boozer.
