Graveside services with Full Military Rites for Clyde L. Cunningham, 68, of Cadiz, were conducted at the Cunningham Cemetery in Trigg County, at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, September 29, 2004.

Jeff Noel officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Cunningham Cemetery.

Mr. Cunningham died on Monday, September 27, 2004, at 9:30 a.m., at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.

Mr. Cunningham was born on November 27, 1935, in Caldwell County. He was the son of the late Raymond L. and Norman Frances Oliver Cunningham.

Mr. Cunningham was a veteran, retired from the U.S. Army and Air Force, having served in Vietnam; was a member of the VFW; and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cecilia Ann Cunningham.

Survivors include a brother, Raymond Glenn Cunningham of Hopkinsville, two sisters, Dorothy Mitchell of Princeton, and Hazel Frances Cunningham of Austin, Texas; four nephews, Paul Mitchell, Michael Mitchell, Leon Cunningham, and Terry Russell; and two nieces, Sherry Cunningham, and Iris Russell.

Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.
