Veteran Dies At Age 76
KNOX
James Albert Clover, 76, of Knox, died suddenly Thursday night in Deshon Veteran's Hospital in Butler following a prolonged illness. Born on July 22, 1895, in Knox, he was the son of the late Samuel and Rose (Porter) Clover.

He was married to the former Alice Cobler of Knox who preceded him in death in 1969. Following his employment for a number of years as a truck driver, he trained race horses in Florida and other states. He was a veteran of World War I and served overseas one year in the 80th Division of Blue Ridge. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Knox, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Chapter in Clarion, and the American Legion chapter in Knox.

Surviving are two sons, David and John (Jack) of Knox; one daughter, Mrs. Steve (Rose Marie) Mazur of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, Ellis of Bradford, John L. of Knox, and Robert of Pompton Lake, N.J.; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers, three sisters, and two half-brothers.

The Roy P. Stuart Funeral Home in Knox is in charge of funeral arrangements. The time of funeral services will be published in Saturday's Derrick.
