Services for Lovella Bea Wolaver, 100, will be at 10 a.m. today, April 3, 2005, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.

Born on March 21, 1905, in Neri, Texas (near Grandbury), as one of nine children to Thadeus Murphy and Amanda Margaret Langston Rowland, she died on May 1, 2005, in Ardmore.

She had been a member of First Baptist Church for more than 60 years and was a member of Dorcus Sunday school class, and ladies group at the YWCA. She was a former deputy court clerk and her husband owned rent houses in Ardmore.

She and Clyde Wolaver were married on Dec. 25, 1938, in Marietta, Okla. After shortly living in Texas and Louisiana, they settled in Ardmore in 1942.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, John and wife, Lenore Wolaver, Vero Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

Bearers will be Brett Coble, Gene Johnson, Wayne Merritt, Cecil Smith and Roy Rowland.
