She married Willis Jason Allen (12 Nov. 1812-22 Feb. 1897), their McDowell Co. marriage bond dated 11 Sept. 1854.
Per her death certificate, she died in Gastonia and was buried at the Drucilla Cemetery, McDowell Co., though I can't find her on the cemetery listing. I believe she had numerous children, but the only ones I know of are John Franklin Allen (1857-1951, m. Claudia Field, my cousin, lived & died in Hickory but buried at Elmwood Cemetery, Charlotte, with her family), Rebecca Jane Allen (1861-1950, Mrs. James Webb Metcalf) and Mattie L. Allen (1864-1922, Mrs. C. A. Jaquins, Dysartsville, bur. Trinity cem., per death cert.)
