Sylvia Ann (Krone) Blake was known to most by nick name of Sis. She lived a quite farm life in Dover, Pennsylvania. The one out of many things I remember about her was she was always peeling something. Rather it be potatoes or apples, that gave her an indentation on her right index finger. I always looked forward to going to visit Aunt Sis, because I knew she always had homemade goodies made. She died sitting in a pew at Lewisberry Methodist United Church. She died of a heart attack. She was a daughter of Ira Elijah Krone & Hannah Rebecca Pottieger Hite Krone (both buried in Hanoverdale Cemetery) & wife to Calvin H Blake (buried in Emanuel Cemetery), & mother to eight children.
